President’s letter
It is my Kevan Wyliepleasure to welcome you to this new initiative from the officers at WAS to provide you with a timely alert to matters that are important to you as members and supporters of the Association. We hope these more frequent communications will allow you the opportunity to learn more about the work of the team and of our work with our partners. This first issue is going to focus on our upcoming world congress in Prague, May 2017 and the critical deadlines and details regarding this meeting. Our congresses are each unique in the topics, themes and breadth of scope that they offer to sexologists and those working or interested in learning more about the field of sexual health. You will be able to submit your work, to network with peers, colleagues and friends and to enjoy a congress that has such wide appeal across a number of different specialties and of global reach.I want to also take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to María Perez who has worked alongside the officers over the last three years as Vice President. María has resigned from her role for personal reasons and the team are establishing the protocol for appointing a replacement member to this role. In the interim I thank Sara Nasserzadeh and the Media Committee as well as Michaela Jurcekova at Association House for helping to ensure our first e-alert is made available to you this month. We hope you find this alert helpful and please share you thoughts and comments with us for us to ensure future alerts are modified to best serve you, our members. We look forward to welcoming you to Prague!

Best regards,
Kevan Wylie
